Looking for Love

There is a shortage of love in our world. It shows because too many people are looking for it in all the wrong place. We see lost and troubled souls joining gangs and terrorist organizations simply for the desire to belong. There are men and women pairing up with people that mistreat them, yet stay only for fear of never finding anyone else and dying alone. It is all around us and for some reason no one is sharing the love, whether it platonic or romantic. Every human being on Earth requires a feeling of genuine love from those that care and make provide a sense of belonging. Nothing is more heartbreaking in this world than feeling like no one cares about your existence, listens to the things that bothers you, or feels you matter. The only thing is more times than not this is not true. There is always someone that has the best interest for another in this world, but sometimes they don’t put it into words, yet you can see it in their actions. These people always ask about your well-being, come around when you want company, are always within reach no matter how far away they may be. There is no reason an individual must seek out love in a toxic environment to only get mistreated and become jaded. I hate people that take advantage of those that only desire to belong, but get used by someone looking to capitalize on this vulnerability. Doing this to someone in need of a human necessity (which is love) make you a monster. I am here to let people know that those bastards that look to try and ruin your trust in humanity are a rarity, because most people that love you do so with the best of intentions. Despite any past events or misguided finding no one should ever give up on finding love because there is more than enough to spread around with some to spare. Keeping giving love a chance because the day you “strike oil” will make all of the failed attempts and disappointment seem worthwhile in your journey to reach the ultimate destination of unconditional love.
